Life Transforming Events (LTE) usually take place over a weekend and will stretch and grow you spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. These events will teach you how to work as a team, as an individual, and most importantly, to depend on God. From these events you will learn lessons that you can take with you for the rest of your life. Watch the videos in Orange.

The first week of the internship lays a foundation upon which you will build the entire year. Gauntlet is filled with opportunities for you to challenge and evaluate yourself as you experience the beginnings of a very exciting year. Beyond training and orientation, Gauntlet provides the foundation for the spiritual growth and development that will take place in you at the Honor Academy.

With Global Expeditions missions trips, you’ll have the opportunity to put your faith into practice by sharing the life-giving message of Jesus Christ in one of the countries you choose. Let God use you as an instrument to touch lives and bring hope to those who are hopeless.

During this event you’ll learn what it is to become a true man or woman of God in today's society. Learn from "the real deal" themselves on how to develop godly relationships, overcome insecurity, and live pure as you step into the full manhood and womanhood God has called you to. ESOAL (Emotionally Stretching Opportunity of a Lifetime) is an optional LTE designed to stretch you emotionally and physically. You will likely be confronted with character flaws that often go too long undetected. Interns vote ESOAL the most influential LTE of the year! Structured off of the Navy Seal's "Hell Week" Training, you will push yourself further than you ever thought possible. You will learn to rely on God's strength and promises even in the most challenging of circumstances, and you'll experience the GREAT victory that can only come from a GREAT battle, even if it's with yourself.

This outdoor simulation allows you to experience the mission field without ever having to leave the campus. Become a missionary and evangelize an un-reached people group, or become an un-reached tribe and develop a unique culture, complete with language and customs. Learn how it feels to reach and how it feels to be unreached.

The TrueNorth Leadership Seminar is a one-day, interactive leadership experience hosted by Global Expeditions. You will receive personalized feedback from seasoned veterans who will help you improve your current leadership abilities. Learn the basics of how to lead a team on a life-changing adventure.

Throughout the year you will learn how to effectively fast and pray. You will then apply this teaching during these LTE weekends in an environment where you can focus solely on God. The campus takes on a unique vibe as hundreds of interns fervently seek to hear from God, grow closer to Him, and get clarification of their life vision and purpose. See video here.

During the internship year you’ll learn, study, and partner with other interns and staff to accomplish great things. This LTE is a weekend devoted to celebrating those accomplishments.

During the Endurance LTE, you'll run the famous, Tyler 10K through the beautiful and historic neighborhoods of Tyler's Azalea Park. You'll forever remember the victory as you learn to ENDURE and never give up on yourself.

Every summer Acquire the Fire's Extreme Camps are held here on campus. This experience is designed to help teens genuinely discover God and live an extreme life for Him. You can play a vital role during this time while serving as a camp counselor. You will have the opportunity to pour into lives and lead campers into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
