Packing List
On this page you’ll find everything you’ll need to be prepared for your year at the Honor Academy. During your first week, you’ll be assigned a temporary dorm room as you go through Gauntlet testing. We suggest you purchase large space savers, mini-fridges, etc. after you have received you final dorm assignment.
As you review this list keep in mind that our campus is about 15 minutes from the nearest Super Wal-Mart® and just 30 minutes from the nearest mall.

- Bible
- Notebooks and/or binder
- Journal
- Pens/pencils/highlighters
- Clothes hangers
- Iron/ironing board
- Office attire
- Button down shirts, polos, slacks, blouses, cardigans, skirts, dresses, nice closed toe shoes etc. (jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes are not acceptable in the office)
- Water bottle (Nalgene® or similar recommended)
- USB Flash Drive (2GB or larger)
- Flashlight
- Alarm clock
- Laundry basket & laundry bag
- Laundry detergent
- Sleeping bag
- Clip on fan & light
- Twin size bedding (for regular twin sized mattress; not extra long)
- Shower caddy and toiletries
Formal Dress Code
On designated days you will be required to wear your Honor Academy uniform. A HA patch will be given to you during Gauntlet. You will need to have the following upon arrival:
Men:
- Navy Blue Blazer
- White oxford dress shirt
- Khaki/light tan dress pants (no cargo pants)
- Black belt, black socks, & black dress shoes
- Tie (will be provided at Registration)
Women:
- Navy Blue Blazer
- White dress shirt
- Black dress shoes
- Khaki/light tan skirt (“one fist rule”)

Mobile Phone CoverageWe recommend the following mobile phone providers based on their reception on and around campus. Always check with your mobile phone provider for street level coverage maps.

Apply for a PassportWe highly recommend that you apply for your passport prior to arriving to the Honor Academy. During different times of the year it can take up to 10 weeks to obtain a US Passport. A valid US Passport is required for international travel and will be required when participating on a missions trip with Teen Mania®. Too Much to Pack?Is your suitcase getting a little too full? Some interns opt to ship their belonging before they arrive so that they won’t need haul bags through the airport or fill up their car. If you plan on shipping your belongings please use the address below. We recommend using a tracable shipping service such as UPS or FedEx.
