I was a crazy teenager searching for purpose & truth. My youth leader brought me to Acquire the Fire when I was 14 and my life was completely changed! I went to the HA when I was 19 and honestly had the best year of my life!

I'm a current intern and just in the few months I've been here, I've learned a lot about the gifts God has gifted me with, developed amazing relationships with some other men and women of God and started learning what He's called me to do. I'm excited for the upcoming times He's got planned for me and I love every minute of being here.

I went to HA with one objective: TO KNOW GOD. The fasting retreats really helped me learn to eliminate distractions and truly LISTEN to the voice of God. ESOAL taught me that I always have MORE left in my tank than I think, and it helped me build a basis of Scripture to stand on during hard times. God rocked my world that year, and I literally have NEVER been the same!
Laurie Jolicoeur
The Honor Academy was a valuable, life changing experience for me. Through this ministry I developed a strong understanding of my convictions and learned how to live my life according to God's word. I now serve in capacities I never dreamed of. Plus I met my husband, so bonus!

I consider it a high honor to have been called to serve at Teen Mania's Honor Academy a few years ago. During my time there, the Lord completely delivered me from bipolar disorder and depression. Teen Mania will always have my support prayerfully, financially, and my highest recommendation due to the solidity of leadership and the Lord's endorsement on that place.

The HA was truly life-changing to me. I went into the Honor Academy with having only 2 years of being a believer. The Honor Academy forever changed my life in such a way that it has provoked me to live honorably and to take His life-giving message to the darkest places of this earth.
Lauren Abigail Lackey
Through the HA, God redeemed me from years of depression and enabled me to forgive people toward whom I'd held bitterness for the majority of my life. Even before I was an intern, I went on three mission trips with Global Expeditions, and God used those trips to fuel my passion for world missions and His Gospel. I wouldn't trade my year at the HA for anything. Almost daily, I thank God that He called me there.

13 years ago I spent two years of my life challenging myself and my faith, drawing closer to God, building amazing relationships, and growing into the person I am today. Thank you for believing in us enough to push us beyond accepting the status quo of today's bankrupt society. Thank you for instilling in us a passion for the lost around us and helping us to keep our priorities in life in line with God's priorities.

God has opened up the doors for me in these tough economic times. In these past two years since graduating the Honor Academy, I have put in countless applications with no real success in finding a full time job. Now He is blessing me with starting my own business! I could not be happier! I can't wait until the day that I hopefully marry another alumni!
Sarah Gnagey
As a missionary today,I have put SO much of what I was taught at Honor Academy into practice. Dying to my flesh, diving into the depths of God, being spirit-led, not having self pity, honoring my authority, and not being defined by fear.I have seen the faithfulness of God,and that His word does not return void! Some of my closest friends are friends from Honor Academy.
Nikki Trohoski
I learned to LOVE when the world is screaming at me to judge and hate.I learned that when you PROUDLY proclaim the name of Jesus, you are going to have news channels doing everything they can to shut you up. But it won’t keep me or my family of alumni from standing strong. Those who proclaim the name of the Lord will be persecuted.
Lauren Michelle Provan
God taught me that it is never about me and I have to have faith in God’s mind and ask God what He wants me to do. He also showed me what He wants me to do and the many things He has done for me and my family. He showed me to be more thankful about the little things and not worry so much about other things but just to trust God and know that He has everything in His hands and that He will always be here no matter what.

I attended an ATF that was life changing. It was this ministry, the love of my church and the Lord that saved me. I felt called to the Honor Academy and I was an intern in 2004. Due to circumstances that had nothing to do with the ministry I didn't complete the year.I will say that in my time there, my life was radically changed.Even now,7 years later,I have never forgotten my time there.
Alicia Hardin
I heard about Honor Academy at ATF. Right then I wanted to go to Honor Academy.I went in 2005,I came in with many emotional, mental and spiritual scars. At The Honor Academy I lifted my hands in worship for the 1st time in 15 years without fear of someone forcing me to worship. If I were to rewind back time and be given a chance to live through my Honor Academy year again, would I do it again? YES.
Julia Helmuth Kramer
I currently have 2 kids there and another one planning to go next summer; one is beginning his 4th year there! Seeing how my kids have grown and matured in their faith has challenged me to renew my own passion and relationship with God!
Elizabeth Blanchard Sadosky
Honor Academy was one of the best years of my life.If I could pick the best thing that came out of my year there, I would say Vision for my life. Once I came home, I knew what God had planned for my life. Shortly after that, God brought an amazing man of God into my life with a similar vision. We've been married for 8 years and have 3 kids who will be raised to be world changers!
Kathryn Shepard
After being at The Honor Academy for two years,I saw who I was and what I am capable of. For the record, my parents didn’t "send" me to the Honor Academy. I CHOSE to go myself because I knew that this was where I could learn to be a confident leader and woman of God.I learned that who I am is not shaped by what I do or don't do. I am who I am because of Christ. Thank you Teen Mania for advancing the Kingdom.
Angela Moerchen
I was an intern and graduate intern for two years. It was a life changing two years that I will NEVER forget!! I grew in so many ways and made Godly friendships that will last a lifetime. The leadership and training I received will be with me forever! Thank you Mr. Hasz and Mr. Luce and all the others leaders at TM for following God and raising up a generation to do the same!! Do not grow weary in well doing!
Lorin Eubank
Today I saw a teenage girl working at McDonalds wearing an Acquire the Fire hoodie, the same hoodie that was sold the year I worked for the Nashville ATF. It's possible that she could have gone to the exact event that I spent 9 months calling for as an intern. I still believe that God is changing lives through the Honor Academy. Praying for the ministry today!
Kimberly 'Kahn' Jarman
The Honor Academy was such a huge part in my life and so many others. After being away from Teen Mania for over 10 years I am still thankful for the things I learned their. It shaped me into the person that.My entire family will and has been always affected for the good of TM.I just want to thank the ministry for the good that they have done.
Jason Michael Skaggs
Things I love about the Honor Academy: 1.The heart behind Teen Mania.Passionately pursuing Jesus as well as be part of reaching a generation. 2.The encouragement you receive from staff and interns. 3.Learning to grow in love for the brethren. 4.The people you meet. From all over the world and country. 5.Being an environment where I am being discipled.
Nicole Elizabeth Hill
I will never forget my life transforming year at the Honor Academy.I know that it was one of the best years of my life!I was equipped with so much wisdom and overcame challenges everyday, which have helped me become the woman I am. I still think back and feel so extremely blessed to be a part of such a great world-changing family.
Tanya Simmons Lang
Regardless of what the few may think or say, your guidance & leadership changed this wayward soul forever. Next to receiving Christ, my time with Teen Mania was the single best thing I have ever done for myself. I loved all of my experiences at the Honor Academy. I wouldn't change any of them and not once did I ever feel abused. Thank you. I am praying for you and the entire ministry.
Jami Brett Coakley
Thank you for all Teen Mania and the Honor Academy have instilled in my life.I graduated in 2000 and throughout the past eleven years have often applied values I've learned at Teen Mania in my life. My testimony and hundreds even thousands of others out there are example of the TRUE intent of Teen Mania. My family is in prayer for you.
Emma Schneider
Thankful beyond measure for Teen Mania Ministries, Acquire the Fire and the Honor Academy! I would not be the woman I am and defiantly not be where I am today.Without the fruit of this ministry and the way that God worked through and used the vessel of Teen Mania in my life! I can not imagine where I'd be had I not gone to my first ATF in 1998 at age 12! THANK YOU!
Matthew Leon
Dave, yer awesome. Teen Mania is awesome. God has used y'all tremendously in my life. My year there was easily one of the top 3 years of my entire life. With the possible exception of my first year as a pastor (which never would have happened without what God did in me at TM), Jesus changed me more in that short period than in any other similar stretch of my life. Keep up the good work sir.
Ashley Weaver
I just wanted to thank you and TM for all you have done for me. Thank you for being obedient to the things of Christ despite what the world says. My year at the HA was one that I would never want to change and will forever cherish in my heart. I am so thankful for the things I learned there. God used that year to shape me and I know I wouldn't be the same without it. Thank you Mr. Hasz. You are all in my prayers.
Sarah Rennick
In my two years at Teen Mania I experienced the most radical and profitable opportunity for growth to date. Especially during my time as a Core Advisor and a Manager,I gained understanding of the love of God and the true transforming power of the Gospel. If there is one lesson I walked away from Teen Mania with, it is the deep knowledge that God is good in any and every circumstance. Thank you for all that you do.
Shalako Drabinsky
Thank you for the wisdom and example you gave me. My brother and I both could never truly express how appreciative we both are for the guidance and direction we received while we are at the HA. I know a big reason why I am who I am today is because of the time I invested there. What a great place for young men to learn how to be men. Thank you again Dave.
Carly Dampier
Thank you Mr. Hasz for your faithful service to my generation. Thank you for never claiming to be perfect, and always being vulnerable and transparent to your own weaknesses and always listening to the voice of the interns. You have positively impacted so many and you will get to see that in the light of eternity. Blessed are those who are persucuted for His name's sake. You're one blessed man Dave Hasz!
John Ross
I am forever grateful by the two years I spent at the Honor Academy. They were the most amazing and challenging years that set a foundation for the rest of my life. I learned how to walk with Jesus, pursue godliness, and receive vision from the Lord. I continue to live out and share the lessons I received from my time there. Thank you to all those serving at Teen Mania.
Jennifer Paysinger
I would go back and do the entire thing over again in a heartbeat. It took some time, but I am finally understanding why some of the physical things were done. Many times I have started getting frustrated and on the verge of quitting when I dial it back and say "I did the Week of the Ring, Gauntlet and a 5k." I am not saying I enjoyed all those physical aspects but I get it now.
Cassie Favela
THANK YOU Mr. Hasz for continuing to serve Teen Mania and for all the service you have done thus far. The HA was challenging, but it was exactly what I needed to wake me up and was also one of the best years of my life. I continue to apply the lessons and values I got from the HA to my life everyday. Praying for many more years of interns being impacted and being able to serve with Teen Mania!
Ti (Brown) Montgomery
At the Honor Academy I gained a huge passion for Jesus, the lost, and myself. I realized I was chosen for such a time as this, to usher in the Presence of the Father so His kids could meet Him. I realized what I am REALLY capable of. I am a warrior for Christ, ready to love, honor, and cherish His amazing creation.
Saúl A. Altamirano
The Honor Academy process will surface and enhance your gifts, talents, and abilities while exposing and challenging who you are. The year you invest in the Honor Academy will set the trajectory to making your life significant - moving beyond just everyday survival or just personal success. At the Honor Academy you will see a return on your investment in the years to come.
Joe Day
The Honor Academy laid a foundation for me to be the person I am today. I am secure, confident and more in love with the Lord than I ever have been. I am proud to proclaim that I am a virgin. The teachings that were poured into me at the Honor Academy no doubt made it possible for me to remain strong through my 20′s. I am waiting for the right one from the LORD.
